Support in the transition process of Certificate Holders to the 2020 program

The Rainforest Alliance is in a critical transition stage where all certificate holders must complete registration on the Rainforest Alliance Certification Platform. This process will allow them to access the respective transition audit(s), maintain the validity of the Rainforest Alliance certificate and continue to be present in the market for certified products.


Currently, of 754 registrations, 287 still cannot confirm scope on the platform, 277 have not downloaded applicable requirements, 571 have not uploaded self-assessment and only 87 licenses have been granted. This situation makes it necessary to hire a consultant to provide additional support to the Customer Success team in Brazil.


Activities or Tasks:


  • Daily check of the entry of records to review, approve or discard.
  • Follow up directly with the client in case of any doubts about the registration.
  • Answer customer questions regarding the registration process.
  • Set or restart users.
  • Guide certificate holders until they are able to confirm scope, download requirements, upload self-assessments, register groups and/or polygons, and choose a certification body.
  • Work together with the Customer Success team in Brazil.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, the Customer Success team and management.
  • Keep log of activities.
  • Effective management of MS Office 365 tools.




Monthly reports that include details of previous activities, level of progress, number of records reviewed, cases handled, as well as lessons learned and proposals for improvements.


Selection criteria



  • Native Portuguese speaker
  • Advanced English,
  • Desirable Spanish,
  • Proficiency in Office 365, with a greater emphasis on Excel,
  • Experience in managing different online systems,
  • Ideally some knowledge of supply chains of certified products,
  • Experience in activities that require being highly organized and with excellent attention to detail,
  • Discretion with the handling of customer information.
